After battling with them around the roof, and nearly falling off once or twice, I finally take the quickest possible trip to the sidewalk below-sliding down the side of the building, which is slanted nearly forty-five degrees, all the way to the ground. The sequence begins with me fighting it out with some thugs on the top of a very tall building in Rotterdam, Holland. Even though one of my stuntmen proved it could be done (from a lower level, of course), it took me two weeks to get up the nerve to try it myself. In general, I would say most people don't have the strength, speed, and flexibility to perform multiple kicks without putting the kicking foot on the ground between kicks. If you look at videos of national TKD competitions, you'll see people perform roundhouse kicks followed up with axe kicks or side kicks using the same kicking foot and not having their kicking foot hit the ground. However, it's not completely uncommon to see multiple kicks performed by a person without having their feet touch the ground. It's more practical (you can generate more power and probably more speed) from putting your kicking foot down between kicks and pushing off the ground with your kicking foot to generate more speed/power.
